Everyone needs health insurance, and everyone deserves cheap
health insurance; however, due to the rising cost of health care,
the rising cost of health insurance, and the rising rate of
unemployed individuals, the number of people who have any kind of
health care coverage is steadily lowering. It isn’t wise for
California residents – or anyone else – to go without health
insurance, but some people feel that going without health coverage
is the best decision for them at the time. Regardless of what you
decide for yourself, you should always make sure your children have
adequate health insurance in California.
Finding cheap California health insurance for children doesn’t have
to be difficult. California currently offers two state-sponsored
health care programs for children; the Healthy Families Program and
the Access for Infants and Mothers Program, also known as AIM.
The California Healthy Families Program
This health insurance plan is designed to provide affordable health
care coverage to California children who can’t otherwise obtain
health insurance. Children who are eligible for the California
Healthy Families Program have parents who are considered low income,
yet have too much income for any other state-sponsored health
insurance plan. The California Healthy Families Program provides
health care coverage, dental care coverage, and vision care coverage
at affordable costs. California proposes that the California Healthy
Families Program may include the parents of eligible children in the
future.
Access for Infants and Mothers Program
The California Access for Infants and Mothers Program (AIM) provides
health care coverage for pregnant women who are considered to have
low or moderate income. To be eligible for AIM, these women can’t be
eligible for any other kind of health insurance, or be able to
otherwise obtain affordable health insurance. AIM offers reduced
prices for a comprehensive package of health care services.

insurance for children can be found by contact the California
